The Secretary-General of the World Ambassadors Council in the European Union, Ambassador Dr Ibrahim Khalil El-Majzoub, sent an official message to King Charles III on the occasion of Easter, extending his best wishes to the British people and Christians around the world for peace, love, and tolerance.
The message carried a dual purpose, including a constitutional legal memorandum based on the provisions of the 1949 Geneva Conventions and international law, addressing the death penalty of Palestinian prisoners in Israeli prisons. It also presented the World Ambassadors Council’s initiative, which aims to end the war in the Middle East, ensure the protection of prisoners, and safeguard human rights, while emphasising the need for urgent international action to alleviate humanitarian suffering and promote peace prospects.
President El-Majzoub underscored the pivotal role the United Kingdom, under the leadership of King Charles III, could play in directing an urgent diplomatic path to support security and stability in the region, in full accordance with international law and human rights.
The message reflects a dual initiative, combining Easter greetings with an international diplomatic appeal, framed in an official and diplomatic tone, aiming to promote peace and stability and protect civilians and prisoners in conflict zones across the Middle East.
